Gastronomic delights

This tour takes you to three distinct barrios of the city, sampling delicious local delicacies along the way. 

You’ll enjoy organic Peruvian coffee and exotic fruits, before heading to a traditional market, where you’ll browse the vibrant stalls and find out about the local produce used in typical Peruvian dishes. You’ll also get the opportunity to sample a renowned pisco sour, accompanied by freshly prepared, superfood dishes. 

Finally, you’ll enjoy a gourmet lunch surrounded by views of the pre-Inca ruins at Huaca Pucllana. 

Practical information

  • Included: One bottle of water per person on the coach and a restaurant lunch with water or soft drink.  

  • Remarks/requirements: Please wear light clothing, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses. Please note this tour includes a transfer of approx. one hour each way. 

  • Walking or Activity information: Involves moderate physical activity on relatively level surfaces and gentle terrain. Approx. 1.1 miles of walking.
