Itinerary for your Pre-Program:

Day 1: Exploring Quito

You’ll travel from the Galápagos Islands to Quito, the historic capital of Ecuador, where your expedition cruise ends. We’ll meet you at the airport and take you to your comfortable, centrally located hotel. Take time to settle in, enjoy the hotel’s facilities, and spend the day exploring Quito at your leisure.

At 9,350 feet, Quito is the second-highest capital city in the world, and its main draw is the exquisite Old Town, which was founded on an ancient Inca settlement. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is packed with well-preserved Colonial architecture, including colorful plazas, magnificent churches, and stately monuments.

Day 2: Departure from Quito

After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your Post-Program comes to an end.

Remarks and requirements

  • This tour is available as a Post-Program in combination with expedition cruises ending in Quito upon return from the Galápagos Islands.
  • At the time of booking, please ensure your original flight from Balta Island has been booked to Quito. If your original flight is to Guayaquil, please ensure you inform us in advance. Your flight from the Galápagos Islands can be changed to Quito at no extra cost.
  • If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the trip up to six weeks before departure.
