Planned Itinerary pre-program:

Day 1: Miami / Arrival

Overnight in a hotel located at Miami Beach, leaving the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 2: Miami

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before you will be taken into the heart of the world’s largest remaining swamp area, the Everglades, where you will witness the serene beauty of the untamed wilderness. You will see alligators, turtles, rare birds, and all other sorts of plant  and animal life and natural fauna. Enjoy all this while walking one or more trails at the Everglades National Park (South Entrance).

The most walked trail is the Anhinga Trail, named after the Anhinga bird and built on wooden walk ways, taking you across the Taylor Slough, deep into the Everglades. The Anhinga bird doesn’t have any fat glands as opposed to other birds, therefore his feathers are not waterproof. For this reason he can dive better and prey on fish with his sharp beak. This bird can be seen quite often in this area. Walking this trail will provide a fascinating view over the impressive fauna and flora of the Florida Everglades. There might be opportunities to speak with a park ranger.

As well, you will experience the thrilling sensation of an airboat ride through the wilderness of the Everglades. In addition to the airboat ride, you will enjoy an alligator and wildlife show, sure to keep hearts pounding and cameras clicking. Finish everything off walking the grounds to see hundreds of alligators.

Included: 

The price includes one night at a hotel in Miami incl. breakfast, luggage porterage at hotel, an English speaking guided - full day excursion to the Everglades incl. lunch.

Not included: 

Dinner.
