Planned itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive at Las Palmas in Gran Canaria

Your Pre-Program begins with an overnight stay at a beautiful hotel near the city center. If you have time, you might want to do some exploring on your own. Las Palmas is packed with Spanish history, culture, and architecture.

Day 2: Tour of Las Palmas and Bandama Crater

After breakfast, you’ll enjoy a four-hour guided bus tour seeing some of Las Palmas’ most famous sights. Stroll through cobbled streets in Vegueta’s Old Town and visit Columbus House, where the legendary explorer once stayed. Admire Plaza Santa Ana and the exclusive suburb of Tafira. Next, we’ll head to Bandama’s volcanic crater for some fantastic views. Your final stop will be at a wine cellar and museum, where you can sample local wines before heading to the pier for the start of your expedition cruise.
