While cruising, you have the opportunity to gaze at the scenic landscape we sail through. On our way to Grumant you can observe the stunning wildlife display, with the thousands of birds gathered on the rocks. While astonished by the orchestra of birds, we continue towards Barentsburg, the Russian capital of Svalbard, where the statue of Lenin still looks down on you.
During the trip, the on board guide will describe the scenery and enlighten you in great detail about Barentsburg – all to ensure that you arrive the city well prepared to explore the area. After a 1h 30min with a local guide in Barentsburg, it’s time to return back to Longyearbyen. This part of the trip can be observed either from the deck on the outside of the boat, or if you prefer, from inside the vessel’s warm and cosy cabin, surrounded with panoramic windows. No matter what you choose, the scenery we sail through will mesmerize you.
