Our popular Book with Confidence policy is back, giving you the peace of mind you want for your next adventure exploring the world with us.

The benefits of the policy apply to any new bookings made between February 16, 2022, and June 30, 2022, for expedition cruises departing on or before December 31, 2022.

  • Free rebooking
    Change your voyage dates free of charge to sail later in 2022 or 2023. This can be for whatever reason—even if unrelated to COVID-19.
  • Covid rebooking
    If COVID-19 affects your journey, rebook free of charge or cancel and receive a credit for a future voyage.

Free Rebooking

Up to 31 days before your departure date, you can change your expedition dates free of charge to sail later in 2022 or 2023. This can be for whatever reason—even if unrelated to COVID-19.

If you aren’t sure about new travel dates, you can simply cancel your expedition and receive a cruise credit for any future expedition with us in 2022 or 2023.

  • This applies to new expedition cruise bookings to any destination, made before June 30, 2022 and sailing on or before December 31, 2022.
  • Rebook another expedition cruise departing on or before March 31, 2023

Covid rebooking

What if COVID-19 prevents you from joining your expedition? We’ve got you covered there, too. We are charging zero rebooking fees from 31 days to 24 hours before departure.

Remember that if you aren’t sure exactly when you want to rebook, you can simply cancel your booking and receive a cruise credit for any expedition with in 2022 or 2023.

  • Eligible COVID-19 factors affecting your expedition cruise include testing positive for COVID-19, quarantine requirements upon entry to the country of embarkation, or a travel ban into that country from where you are traveling.
  • This applies to new expedition cruise bookings to any destination, made before June 30, 2022 and sailing on or before December 31, 2022.
  • Rebook another expedition cruise departing on or before March 31, 2023

When we cancel

As always, and as per to our General Terms and Conditions, if we are the ones who make the hard choice to cancel your expedition due to exceptional circumstances, we’ll be sure to offer you a refund.

You will also have the option of rebooking free of charge or receiving a cruise credit towards the future cruise of your choice.

Book with Confidence Conditions cannot be used to claim a refund. 

If you rebook your cruise under BWC Conditions, your original cancelation deadlines and fees continue to apply, as per the General Terms and Conditions. Any promotions or offers available or applicable with the original booking shall not apply to the subsequent booking made under the BWC Conditions.

You may also refer to the General terms and Conditions. The General Terms and Conditions include the right to rebook or cancel the cruise, subject to certain conditions. For example, you may cancel a travel package before it begins without paying a cancellation fee if unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occur at the destination or its immediate vicinity that would significantly affect the enjoyment of the travel package.
