Restaurants on the Coastal Express
Each of our onboard restaurants is named after an aspect of the Norwegian coast, which reflects our love of food and Norway. Together, they offer our guests an exciting way to explore Norwegian cuisine.
Torget
Breakfast - served from 7am
Start the day with a selection of hot dishes and a buffet of fresh bread, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, smoothies, juices, energy shots, porridge, salmon, eggs, and pancakes.
Lunch - served from 12pm
Using local, homegrown produce and the best ingredients of the season, our chefs cook up delicious plated dishes or sumptuous buffets for your lunch. For sustainable, plant-based meals, expect a great selection of vegan dishes marked on the menu.
Dinner – served from 6pm
Enjoy a three-course dinner and choose from different dishes each day of your voyage, including a selection of meat, fish, and plant-based options. Top off dinner with traditional desserts such as homemade cakes, sorbets, or pudding, often with a coulis made from local berries.
Kysten
Dine in style at Kysten, our à la carte option. Kysten means ‘coast’ in Norwegian. This name reflects the restaurant’s simple, elegant, and contemporary style. Savor dishes crafted by our most skilled chefs, who use the finest ingredients on the Norwegian coast.
Expect plump scallops hand-picked by divers off the coast of Helgeland, extra tender reindeer sirloin, and juicy langoustine garnished with local butter and wild herbs. Rest assured that the seafood is fresh, the meats are free range, and the cheeses award-winning.
In the evening, you’ll be spoiled for choice between four sumptuous starters, five exquisite main courses, four desserts—and don’t forget our famous cheese plate. Pair your meal with a bottle of wine from our expertly selected list. Guests on Platinum fares can indulge in all three daily meals here on their cruise.

Brygga
The name of our onboard bistro can be translated from the Norwegian word for ‘wharf’. As you’ll see on your cruise, wharves on the Norwegian coast are bustling with workers loading and unloading cargo, who don’t have time for a relaxing sit-down meal.
It’s fitting for Brygga to serve satisfying dishes that are easy to eat, such as fresh salads, sandwiches, wraps, and good old comfort food like freshly prepared pizzas and gastro burgers. Try the soup of the day, the sirloin steak, or the grilled salmon. Finish with locally inspired desserts and sweet cakes.
These crowd pleasers include our signature shrimp sandwich, served with eggs, dill mayonnaise, and a wedge of lemon—a mouth-watering Norwegian classic.

Multe
Let the aroma of freshly baked cakes and pastries guide you to Multe. This onboard bakery serves open sandwiches, called smørbrød, piled with generous helpings of toppings. Treat yourself to fresh smoothies, a choice of coffees, and luscious ice cream direct from Lofoten.
The name Multe means ‘cloudberry’ in Norwegian. Jam made from this rare Arctic berry can be sampled in the bakery, often served with waffles and generous dollops of whipped cream or ice cream.
All your favorite ice cream flavors are there, plus a few Norwegian-themed ones you might like to try, like the brunost (brown cheese) ice cream. Two scoops or three?
