Our visit to the modern town of Agadir begins from the old Kasbah situated 236m above sea level. Following its reconstruction Agadir presents an interesting architectural uniformity; the centre of the city consists of many beautiful streets full of restaurants, bars and shops, which form the heart of social life.
The central post, the New City Hall and the tribunal are typical features of the modern city. For some Moroccan atmosphere, head to Souk al-Had in the southeastern suburbs. This is the biggest market in the region.
There are approximately 6,000 small shops. It is surrounded by ramparts and has several entrances. It is organized into different sectors: furniture, handicrafts, clothing, vegetables, meat, spices and traditional decorations.
You will enjoy a folkloric show " Fantasia " during which typical mint tea and Moroccan pastries will be served. Return to the pier.
