We board a regional boat for a cruise of the Guajará bay and will go as far as Parrots’ island. As the sun rises, thousands of parrots leave the island in a noisy and wonderful flight. After this unforgettable scene, our tour continues through the channels and creeks of the Guamá river. Offering us the opportunity to see the natives riding their dug-out canoes – their only means of transportation, fishing and selling local products in their stilt houses.
