We depart the pier in 4x4 WD vehicles and head for the Shark Museum and Raquel Hole lookout. We then visit the island´s tiny capital, the historical village of Vila dos Remédios, built during colonial times by the Dutch and later the Portuguese (1737). We continue to the island´s historical sites, including the old Catholic church, Nossa Sra. as well as Dos Remédios and the Governor’s building. We then proceed to Conceição Beach for a brief photo stop, and afterwards uphill to the lookout point Mirante do Forte de São Pedro, from where you can see and appreciate the beauty of the whole island.
Next, we travel to the village of Quixaba where you embark on a short walk to one of the most beautiful and unforgettable views on the archipelago - Sancho's beach and the Bay of Pigs. These are truly breath-taking sights.
We then get back into the vehicle and head for Sueste beach for a swim before the return drive to the pier.
