Enjoy this short taste of Senja in Torsken. Our restaurant manager will present and explain the ingredients, which are produced in the village and are typical flavors in the area. The largest employer in the village is the salmon farm Wilsgård Fiskeoppdrett. We will try the smoked salmon perfected by our chef at the restaurant Senja by Heart. We will try the dried cod and learn how it is made. The waffle with brown cheese is a typical “sweet” dish, though brown cheese, while very common in Norway, is not really a cheese. We will follow that with a taste of local beer.
