Lean back in your sled and enjoy while an experienced musher drives you safely through the gorgeous mountain landscape of Kvaløya Island. This tour is perfect for taking pictures and is suitable for families with children or anyone who wants to go on relaxed and comfortable adventure. Upon arrival at our center, located 25 minutes outside of Tromsø city, you will receive thermal overalls and boots to keep you warm and comfy during your stay. The only thing you need to bring are warm under layers, a hat, and gloves. Once you are equipped, our guides will take you on a 45–60 minute ride (depending on the weather conditions) on a sled shared with another guest. Upon return, our 200 Alaskan huskies and their puppies eagerly await your visit. On a guided tour of our dog yard, learn about the Alaskan Husky breed, dog-sled racing, and animal welfare. After the tour, you can relax around an open fire in our cozy Gamme-Hut. Here, you will also be served hot drinks and lunch. You can try Bidos, a traditional Sami reindeer dish, but we also offer a vegetarian option upon prior request. The final highlight will be a piece of our world-famous chocolate cake for desert, before we make our way back to Tromsø.
