Meals on the trip: Hot and cold beverages, sometimes a snack or a light meal.

The Norwegian’s passion for the outdoors has a name: 'friluftsliv', which can best be described as connecting with Mother Nature on both a physical and spiritual level and Norwegian’s desire for the ‘outdoor life’. And winter is perhaps the most special time to explore the wild and untamed Norwegian scenery. The landscape is covered in pure-white snow and the air is fresh, pure, and crisp. You go ashore in small groups, with your own expedition team, to explore and get even closer to nature. See Norway through the eyes of the Norwegian-born expedition team members and enjoy learning more about subjects such as the wildlife, history, geology, and culture of Norway in an entertaining and informal way. The purpose of our activities is not only to present interesting lectures and impart facts, but to share with you the pleasure in the outdoor activity itself.  We seek to share with you the joy of living in the moment during our activities, perhaps while sitting around a warming, crackling campfire; hiking a beautiful trail; or even just by enjoying a cup of coffee or tea with expedition team members and other guests, surrounded by Norwegian winter and its incredible nature.
