Travel through time and experience an authentic Viking world at Tønsviking Medieval Homestead. Your guide will meet you at the pier and take you to Tonsvik, where adventure awaits.
Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a peaceful and enchanting 0.6-mile hike through woodland and through time, toward your historic destination. Your journey takes you to a clearing, where you’ll find a courtyard and five traditional Viking buildings constructed using centuries-old craftsmanship. Feeling like you’ve been transported back to ancient times, the homestead’s master builder will greet you to recount tales of his mammoth building project and life in the Viking era. Then join us in the Viking Hall as we sit at the traditional long table and enjoy some refreshments.
