Notices
Wear comfortable walking shoes and clothes suitable for that day’s weather. Kayaks, splash skirts, life jackets, paddle mittens, and oars are provided. No previous experience of kayaking needed.
We first travel by bus to Henningsvær, where your expert guide awaits. There, you’ll receive all the necessary equipment and instructions for your two-hour kayaking tour. The trip will be tailored to suit the needs of the group, including those who have never kayaked before.
Aboard your stable tandem kayak and pass rorbu cabins and authentic fishing boats as you wade through Henningsvær harbor. As you navigate the calm waters surrounded by the towering mountains of Henningsvær, your guide will share stories about this stunning area’s history, culture, and wildlife.
You’ll then have over an hour to explore Henningsvær on foot, perhaps returning to places you saw earlier on your kayaking trip to see the view from a different perspective.
A popular attraction is the local soccer stadium, situated dramatically at the end of a narrow peninsula. It’s probably the most famous and most photographed soccer stadium in Norway.
