Guests will travel by guided bus to the husky farm, where staff will greet them and give safety instructions for the ride. A trained guide will drive each sled with guests riding as passengers in groups of two or three. The ride itself will last 20–30 minutes. When they arrive back at the husky farm, guests will be invited into the tent of a Sami herdsman’s (called a ‘lavvo’) where they will enjoy hot drinks and cookies around a roaring wood fire. The hosts will provide stories about raising and racing sled dogs and are happy to answer questions from the guests. Of course you will have time to greet, photograph, and spend time with the cheerful and eager sled dogs. There will be approximately 110 yards of walking over uneven and occasionally icy snow.
