Lofotpils is Lofoten’s first and only craft brewery and known for making beer with distinct flavors sourced from Lofoten’s fresh and remarkably beautiful nature. This excursion begins with Lofotpils founder and Hurtigruten supplier Thorvardur meeting us at the pier and leading us to the nearby brewery. A guided tour shows us around the brewery, where we learn all about the beer-making process, the history of Lofotpils, and how special ingredients from the land and sea – combined with Lofoten’s pristine fresh water – made it possible to start the brewery and make beer with 'a taste of pure nature'. The tour ends with a beer-tasting, poured straight from the fermentation tank. Beer doesn’t get fresher than this!
