Explore the south side of Gros Morne National Park. The tour starts with a short drive to the Gros Morne discovery center (its primary interpretation center), which features exhibits about the region’s many geological highlights. A 10-minute drive takes us to the Tablelands, the remarkable landform that gave the park its UNESCO World Heritage wite designation. A park interpreter joins us at the Tablelands to tell about this region’s unique geology. Then we walk on the Tablelands trail, exploring its unusual physical nature and looking at the distinctive plants that thrive there. We also get a great view of Gros Morne, the mountain the park is named after.
