Explore the south side of Gros Morne National Park.
The tour starts with a short drive to the Gros Morne’s Discovery Centre (primary interpretation centre), which features exhibits about the region’s many geological highlights. A10-minute drive takes us to the Tablelands, the remarkable landform that gave the park its UNESCO World Heritage Site designation. A Parks Canada interpreter joins us at the Tablelands to tell about this region’s unique geology.
We walk on the Tablelands trail exploring its unusual physical nature and looking at distinctive plants that thrive here.
We also get a great view of Gros Morne, the mountain the park is named after.
