Nuuk Grand Experience

Welcome to Nuuk—a different Greenlandic experience. The best is all concentrated in one place, near the city center and Colonial Harbor. It is within walking distance of Nuuk’s most important sights. During this event, you will experience a Greenlandic mask dance (10 min) with an explanation of the story behind the dance afterward (total 20 min). After the show, enjoy a tasting of locally caught food and local beer, all while the local choir sings three songs. All of this will happen in Katuaq, Nuuk’s cultural center, which was opened in 1997. The architecture was inspired by the wavy northern lights, icebergs, and the way light dances on ice and snow.
