Upernaviarsuk Agricultural Station Experiments here test whether new varieties of livestock, crops, plants, and trees can thrive in Greenland. Upernaviarsuk also includes an agricultural school where aspiring young farmers receive training. The guide will tell you about agriculture in Greenland and the challenges that farmers face in the subarctic climate. This also includes the possibilities for the future, if the climate becomes warmer as a consequence of global warming.

  • Walking information: Pier to the boat: 2 minutes. Walking from the boat to the greenhouse and its surroundings: 30 minutes.
