Drive by bus through Tórshavn and over the hills to Kirkjubøur, the island’s oldest cultural center. Here you will be introduced to the ruins of the 13th century St. Magnus Cathedral and the 11th century church, which is still in use.
We also visit the 900-year old “Roykstovan” estate house, considered to be the oldest wooden stave structure in Europe, which has hosted 17 generations of residents. Finally, we enjoy a drive back to Tórshavn for a visit to the historical museum and the end of the tour.
