You can also join the Original Rock Tour, but on this tour you will also get the opportunity to experience dolphins in their natural element.
On this tour you will stop at the very top of the Rock of Gibraltar, with stunning views from both sides of the rock, over 1,300 feet above sea level. Here, you'll meet the rock’s main pack of approximately 40 Barbary 'apes' of all ages and sizes. Although the species is commonly referred to as the 'Barbary ape', it is in fact a macaque, a kind of monkey. Introduced in 1750, at present there are approximately 200 monkeys roaming free on the upper rock. Please be careful. No touching or feeding is allowed, as they can bite.
St. Michael's Cave
St. Michael's Cave is 984 feet above sea level, and you’ll have a 20-minute visit to this natural grotto to admire its beauty with stalactites and lighting display. Inhabited by the Neanderthals and visited since the time of the Romans, it was also prepared as an emergency hospital during WWII. Today it is a main tourist attraction and also used for concerts and social events.
