We then continue toward Santa Catarina Park, which offers lovely views of the bay of Funchal and features green spaces, a cafe, several paths with benches, many species of flora, and a lovely lake with a small island where swans and ducks thrive. Visit Blandy's Madeira Wine Lodge for a taste of our famous wine. The next stop is outside the Cathedral of Funchal, classified as a National Monument in 1910. It is the main religious temple of the archipelago. Proceed towards the market. Nowadays, this space still performs its original functions. Here, vendors sell all kinds of products in an environment filled with different colors, sounds, smells, and people.
