One of the best ways to discover Vigo is on foot. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the Montero Ríos Avenue and see the statue of Jules Verne, who set the second chapter of his novel ‘Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea’ in the beautiful bay of Vigo. Continue through Concepción Arenal Street toward Plaza de Compostela and its gardens to absorb the local atmosphere and observe the stylish city buildings.

Your guided walk continues toward the Museum of Contemporary Art, Calle Príncipe, García Barbón Theatre and Puerta del Sol, presided by an imposing sculpture called El Sireno, considered to be the heart of the city. We will continue toward the Old Quarter, passing Plaza de La Constitución, Calle Cesteiras, and Santa María Collegiate Church. We will end the walk at the popular Calle de Las Ostras (Oyster Street) before returning to the ship.
