As you head out on your tour, watch for the Mudejar- style tobacco factory, built in 1741, which now serves as the Congress building. Your guide will also point out Santo Domingo Church, the old Royal Prison in Andalusian neo-Classical style, and the Roman theatre, as you travel through Cádiz. You will also pass the ancient Phoenician port of La Caleta, the botanical gardens, and the castle walls that once protected the town.
Leave your motor coach at Plaza de España and walk to Puertas de Tierra (the Old Walls). There you will step inside at Flamenco la Cava for a stylish demonstration of this typical Spanish dance.
