On this tour you'll depart from Brest and be driven directly to Daoulas. The Abbaye de Daoulas has a prestigious past. It houses an oratory, a fountain, and a Roman cloister, which is quite unique in this area.
Remodeled and enlarged with the collaboration of the National Botanical Conservatory of Brest, the gardens are laid out in the Middle-Ages style. You will enjoy a guided visit of the medicinal garden and the Park of the Abbey. In addition to the usual medicinal, herbal, and aromatic plants, the Abbaye de Daoula also has a collection of exotic, magic, and endangered species, and 250 pharmaceutical plants from five continents are also on display. The park is laid out over 11 acres and also features remarkable vegetal species.
You'll visit the impressive and historically significant sculptural work of the Calvary at Plougastel-Daoulas before heading back to the pier.
