Discover the picturesque Island of Canna.
  • Enjoy a ride on a zodiac boat.

  • Discover Canna’s abundant flora and fauna.

  • Learn about the culture and history of Canna.

Disembarking on a small boat (RIB) on a solitary coast is the essence of expedition traveling. There are no ports, no houses, and probably no vehicles. Only raw nature, infinite landscapes, and untamed wildlife. No filters of any kind. The real pleasure is exploring the environment with the open mind of a pioneer and discovering the world as it used to be.

Canna is only 5 miles long by 1 mile wide. Even though it is one of the smaller isles of the Hebrides, there are plenty of things to see and do. The island boasts several ancient monuments and historically important sites. It also and has a protected area for its large population of breeding seabirds.

At Hurtigruten, we have the best team of guides and naturalists, the highest safety measures, and the strictest environmental protocols to protect the land—all while ensuring an unforgettable experience.
