Telemark landscape. Arrive Ulefoss where you will board your canal boat. When the Telemark Canal was completed in 1892, there was a continuous waterway from the coast to the inner part of Telemark. With 18 Locks it lifts the boats from 0 to 72 metres above sea level. In European travel manuals the canal was talked about as one of the "eight wonders of the world" when it was finished. On your canal boat ride from Ulefoss to Lunde you will sail into the heart of the canal landscape. On your way you will pass two locks, where Vrangfoss is one of them. Vrangfoss is the largest lock with 5 chambers. Enjoy lunch on board MS Victoria; the dish of the day and tea/coffee will be served.
