This tour starts with a short walk from the landing pier across a wooden footbridge to Santa Catalina Island with its mangroves, traditional houses and fortifications before returning for short stroll through Santa Isabel, the main settlement on the island.  After seeing main street and the first Baptist church board the local pickup trucks for an open-air drive along the island´s only road with panoramic views of the lush mountainous landscapes and painted wooden houses sitting along the shoreline. During the drive, the local guides will narrate the story of Providencia before making a stop at Southwest Bay for refreshments and the opportunity to shop for local souvenirs from local artisans. There is also an opportunity to swim from the beach.

The drive then continues along the coastal road passing though small local communities with picturesque views of the Caribbean before returning to the pier at Santa Isabel.
