Lush mangroves and the abundant marine wildlife of the Pacific Ocean converge in the fascinating Utría National Park, located in the Colombian department of Chocó, in the Nuqui and Bahia Solano municipalities. South of Utría Cove, foothills covered with thick tropical jungle are hidden in the mist and stretch all the way into the sea. Meanwhile, the inlet’s landscape changes as the tide rises and falls.
Utría Park is a privileged area for nature tourism, due to its countless natural attractions, beautiful landscapes, pristine ecosystems, and great cultural wealth. It all forms part of the unique heritage of northern Colombia’s Pacific Region. Visitors have a wide range of activities to choose from, including trekking, observing fauna and flora, and interacting with the local culture.
During this day trip, you can discover the natural wonders of this protected area. Please note that the transfer from Bahia Solano may take up to 1.5 hours each way by speed boat and can be bumpy.
