Board your air-conditioned bus for the approximately 45-minute drive to the town of Chichigalpa, home of the world-famous Flor de Caña rum.

Upon arrival, enjoy a guided visit that will teach you the history of how sugar cane came to the America’s and the origin and development of rum worldwide. Witness the fascinating process used to process the rum, learn about the maintenance of the oak barrels, and see first-hand the impressive warehouses housing hundreds of the oak barrels filled with 25-year-old rum. Enjoy a tasting session of an 18-year-old rum and walk through the Flor de Cana Rum Museum, which chronicles this business, which has been family owned since 1890. End your visit with a stop at the gift shop, featuring a range of high-quality rums and other interesting souvenirs.
