Crab Cay is a small island located on the eastern side of Providencia. From here, enjoy beautiful views of the Sea of Seven Colors and the mountains of Providencia and swim in the warm turquoise waters.
  • Visit Crab Cay, a natural wonder belonging to McBean Lagoon National Park.

  • Enjoy refreshments and snacks at a beautiful spot.

  • Swim and snorkel in the turquoise waters of Crab Cay and Morgan’s Head.

  • Option to explore the small town

Departing from the town pier, the boat will travel around the coastline of the adjoining island of Santa Catalina. It will then arrive to Crab Cay, a small island located on the eastern side of Providencia, immediately offshore

Guests disembark on to a wooden jetty where National Park staff will conduct a short briefing and supply any snorkeling equipment required. The guests will have the chance to enjoy free time at the cay. If they so desire, they can join a beginning-level snorkeling tour around the Cay, swim from the wooden platform, or walk to the peak of the cay for spectacular views of the surrounding sea and Providencia Island.

The waters are crystal clear or turquoise, depending on the depth of the water. It is an ideal location for beginners and for leisure swimming.

During your time at the Cay, you can taste traditional snacks and refreshments

Then, board your motorboat and continue with the second part of your tour, when the boat will stop behind Morgan’s Head at a great snorkeling spot. This place is perfect for beginners, due to the low currents and short depth. Enjoy a 30-minute snorkeling activity and board your motorboat.

Returning to the town pier in Sana Isabel, guests can either return to the ship or explore the small town independently.
