Jomfruland, the island with unique scenery and an exciting history, is a gem in Kragerø’s beautiful archipelago. There are farms, beaches, and tiny cottages scattered across the entire island.

This tour will take you to the Virgin Island by ‘water taxi’. Upon arrival, you will be equipped with bikes and can ride them through the island’s unique nature and cultural landscape. Your guide will give insight into the history of this island and the life of the people that still live there. At the end of the tour, you are rewarded with coffee and homemade pastries before taking the boat back to Kragerø.

  • Language: English.

  • Included: Local guide, water taxi to Kragerø/Jomfruland, bike rental, pastry and coffee (refreshment stop at Jomfruland)

  • Remarks/requirements: We recommend dressing in layered clothing, with a wind and waterproof jacket, and wearing comfortable walking shoes.

  • Walking information: The tour requires good physical condition. The bike ride will be partly on paths through the forest and on a gravel road. Guests must be able to handle a bike on uneven ground and bumpy roads.

  • Wheelchair accessible: No.
