From mysterious Incas to majestic icebergs, cruise the colorfully diverse Pacific coast of South America and cross to the icy continent of Antarctica.

From Machu Picchu down the Pacific coast

Your adventure begins in Lima, where you’ll catch a flight to Cusco, the culture-rich capital of the Inca empire. From here, a classic train ride through the mountains brings you to the ‘Lost City’ of Machu Picchu.

Heading back to Lima, you’ll board your expedition ship and begin cruising down the Pacific coast. From the abundant wildlife of the Ballestas Islands and the sun-drenched beaches of Arica to the Atacama Desert and historic La Serena, each day will be a journey of discovery.

From Patagonia to the icy seventh continent

Continuing south, you’ll explore the colorful UNESCO-listed city of Valparaíso, before venturing to Patagonia. You’ll be surrounded by vast fjords, rugged mountains and icebergs as we call at charming Castro, isolated Puerto Edén and breathtaking Puerto Natales. Cruising through the Beagle Channel to reach the tip of South America, you may even land at Cape Horn if conditions allow.

After crossing the Drake Passage, you’ll arrive at the frozen continent of Antarctica. Being late spring, the icebergs will be pristine and the penguins will be nest-building. No two days here will be the same. Our flexible itinerary makes the most of the weather and the wildlife, ensuring you have an unforgettable time in Antarctica.
