Enjoy a trip to nearby Urnes Stave Church. Urnes is the oldest stave church in Norway, built in the 12th century, and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. An outstanding example of traditional Scandinavian wooden architecture, it brings together Celtic art, Viking traditions and Romanesque style. Marvel at the church’s exquisite interior carvings, notable for both their artistic and historical significance.
