Discover the amazing freshwater and marine wildlife in the heart of Weymouth with expert guides from the RSPB. On this excursion you will have a choice of visiting one of several sites along the Weymouth coast, including some RSPB reserves. The reedbeds and marshes of RSPB Radipole and RSPB Lodmoor are home to majestic marsh harriers, elusive bitterns and bearded tits and a raucous colony of common terns. Chesil Beach is home to a colony of diminutive little terns while Weymouth Beach provides an excellent view across Weymouth Bay. As well as a guided walk to discover the wildlife of these fantastic places, you will also help us to look after the local environment by doing a litter pick, removing litter from these fragile marine and freshwater habitats.
