All customers have the right to cancel a trip, on payment of a cancellation fee. Cancellation date is considered to be the date on which Hurtigruten ASA receives written notification of cancellation. For trips based on prepaid flights, the airline’s cancellation regulations will apply in addition to the following regulations: For cancellation of domestic trips: NOK 1500 per person for half/whole roundtrip or package which includes this.

From 30 to 21 days inclusive before departure: -55% of the price of the trip.

From 20 to 8 days inclusive before departure: -75% of the price of the trip

From 7 days inclusive or less before departure: -100 % of the price of the trip

Cancellation of international trips

More than 60 days before departure, a fee of NOK 2000 per person per reservation is charged. Prepaid plane tickets may also result in a cancellation fee. Applies to Explorer Cruise only.

From 60 to 31 days inclusive before departure: -25% of the price of the trip.

From 30 to 21 days inclusive before departure: -55% of the price of the trip.

From 20 to 8 days inclusive before departure: -75% of the price of the trip.

From 7 days inclusive or less before departure: -100 % of the price of the trip.

For customer bookings which comprise several persons, and where the total price agreed is based on discounts or deductions related to the number of passengers, the grounds for such discounts or deductions will no longer be valid if one or more members of the party cancel. For such partial cancellations, Hurtigruten ASA will refound the proportional part of the agreed/paid price to the person(s) cancelling, and claim an additional charge as a result of the loss of discount related to the number of passengers in the party.
