Polar History City Walk, Tromsø (5D)

On this walking tour of Tromsø you will learn about the importance of the town for polar exploration and visit the Polar Museum as well as Mack Brewery, Tromsø’s oldest pub.

Polar History

Your guide will take you from the quay through the centre of Tromsø with views of the famous Arctic Cathedral and a stop at the statue of Roald Amundsen.

During the visit of the Polar Museum you can view numerous artefacts related to the polar expeditions that started from here, as well as the hunting traditions of past centuries.

Continue your walk through the main pedestrian street to “Mack Ølhallen” and stop for a glass of the local beer before returning to the ship.
