Spitsbergen Expedition Cruise:
In the course of an intense week you will experience Svalbard´s spectacular nature and fauna in the northerly and easterly territories on board MV Polar Star - heading for 80ºN.

Spitsbergen Adventure Cruise:
Experience Spitsbergen's wild and beautiful north-westerly coast onboard the venerable coastal steamer MS Nordstjernen. We visit several magnificent fjords as Magdalenefjorden and Raudfjorden and try to reach 80ºN.

Spitsbergen Coastal cruise:
During 13 days we will visit some of the most exciting destinations in Norway, From Bergen in the south to Spitsbergen up north. An exclusive cruise with only one departure in 2009. We try to make a landing at Bjørnøya, midway between Norwegian mainland and Spitsbergen. Next stop is Longyearbyen, before we sail on along the magnificent western coast of Spitsbergen, trying to reach 80ºN.

Landbased organisation:
Spitsbergen Travel is the only landbased organisation on Svalbard organising cruises in these proportions. We are able to run a quality control on everything from A to Z.

Destination experience:
20 years of experience from the destination, and only “local” guides.

Landings/learning:
Our landings in Spitsbergen are exciting and safe. They include amazingwildlife and places of historical interest. The use of PolarCircle boats gives us the possibilities to do a wide range of landings. Our expedition teams are experienced with in-depth knowledge of the areas we sail in. They will conduct lectures on topics such as biology, history and geology throughout the course of the trip.
