Western Europe Easter Voyage

The coastline of Western Europe offers the prospect of a fascinating journey through history and culture. Join MS Fram on this springtime voyage taking you through eight different ports of call, across five countries. Beginning our voyage along the beautiful coastline of Portugal, we will continue north through Spain, France and the Channel Islands before ending our journey in one of the largest ports in Europe – Hamburg in Germany.

Day 1 Lisbon, Portugal

One of the oldest cities in the world, Lisbon offers centuries of heritage and charm. Visit the city’s two UNESCO World Heritage Sites; the Belem Tower and Jerónimos Monastery, or simply explore at your own pace, discovering the many hidden gems of Portugal’s capital before boarding MS Fram in the afternoon.

Day 2 Porto, Portugal

Today we visit the UNESCO-listed city of Porto. Explore the historic centre of this city, or enjoy a taste of the famous Port wine, which is made in the many vineyards along the Douro River that runs through the city.

Day 3 La Coruña, Spain

Join an overland excursion to Santiago de Compostela, the capital of Galicia. Here we find the magnificent Cathedral of Santiago which attracts thousands of
pilgrims every year. In the evening we call at La Coruña, where the harbour buildings with their glass and white frames have earned the town its nickname “The Crystal City”.

Day 4 The Bay of Biscay

Today we will be sailing across the Bay of Biscay, home to a rich variety of wildlife including many species of whales, dolphins and seabirds.

Day 5 Bordeaux, France (Maundy Thursday)

Today’s call at the wine capital of the world offers you the chance to visit some of the many vineyards and castles Bordeaux has to offer, tasting some of the world’s finest wines as you go!

Day 6 At sea (Good Friday)

Today you may choose to follow our informative on board lecture series, enjoy the fresh air out on deck, or simply relax in our keep-fit area or panorama lounge as we sail towards our next port of call.
