Hurtigruten sails on, into the season of clear colours. The sharp, clear air strengthens the reds, yellows and oranges which fll the mountainsides, hilltops and woods.
From deck, framed by an icy blue sky, you can see the dark blue sea where killer whales may be breaking surface. Even in September there may be sprinkling of snow on the highest peaks and all of nature seems to have a feeling of expectation. We are entering the blue time.
